Forming Infant Immune System

How early formation of a baby’s immune system

While still a fetus in the womb of the mother, babies get antibodies through the placenta. Antibodies “passive” is protecting him from attacks during the disease is still in the womb. Important for infant immunization

When to take the baby to be immunized

Immunization of infants will be obtained
Now, immunization can be shortened with a combination vaccine.
Vaccine or vaccine combination combo is a combination of several types of viruses or bacteria into a single product type antigen to prevent different diseases. Practically, this vaccine is done in one shot only. Combination vaccines is the oldest existing DPT (Diphtheria-Pertussis-Tetanus). From the merger of DPT vaccine was proven safe, then arose the idea of combining some other vaccines.

So be combining DPT vaccine + hepatitis B, DPT + Hib (Haemophilus influenzae type-B), and so on. Now, there are also many other types of vaccine combinations. For example, MMR (Measles Mumps Rubella) + varicella, DPT + Hepatitis B + Hib + IPV (polio), and many more.

Is my baby going to suffer the side effects?
Allergic to the vaccine is extremely rare. So pretty safe immunization. If any little baby has a fever or swelling at the injection site, you can give paracetamol suitable for infants. Sometimes babies have very mild symptoms of these immunizations. However, your child will not suffer side effects or serious complications. Risk of disease will be much greater if your baby is not protected.

If you worry about your baby having a bad reaction to the vaccine, talk to your midwife or your doctor.
